Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please click here. Our office at Bucktown and Wicker Park facilitates communications and emergency calls. Appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients seeking help.

Cancellation:
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient.

Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional dental insurance plans. Contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Bucktown Dental Associates does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. Cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening are usually not covered by dental insurance. However, we offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Accepted Insurance Carriers
We are a participating provider in many fee for service and PPO Insurance Plans. We will accept assignment from your insurance and do all the necessary paperwork to maximize your benefits.

Payment Options
We accept most major credit cards. We also accept checks. For patients who require major work, we provide financing through ChaseHealthAdvance.

Infection Control
There is no greater priority at Bucktown Dental than infection control for protection of our patients and staff from contagious diseases. We are committed to Universal Precautions, which are safety guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention along with the American Dental Association to prevent transmission of infectious disease, including the AIDS virus.

Many of our decontamination, sterilization and disposal procedures take place outside of your view. Before you enter the treatment room all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. Blood or saliva contaminated items such as disposable saliva ejectors [suction tips] and sharps [needles] are placed in special containers. We take strict precautions in handling and disposing our hazardous waste materials.

Whenever possible, we use disposable materials and instruments that are used only once. Non-disposable instruments are sterilized at very high temperatures in a special sterilizing area after every use. If you would like to see how this is done, ask our staff to show you. We use an outside company to monitor the effectiveness of our sterilization. A culture sample is periodically sent to that company
